I am The Tortoise

Hello everybody. I am new to RA coming here from the RWOL forums. I started walking for fitness on January 2, 2012 and upgraded to running on February 4, 2012. I am still slow but I did the C25K plan and have run three 5k events this year. Also volunteered to help staff a triathlon. Planning to do my first half marathon the first weekend in February 2013 to celebrate 1 year of running. My fitness quest began because my annual weight gain during the last 4 or 5 years has increased each year.

I started here yesterday - you have done so well with running this year!

      Marathons are habit-forming...

        Thank you Karen!

I actually found out about RA in a RW forum post.

Hddave over there at RW . I have always had a log here but never used the forums much. That may change.

If you look at my training log, it is empty. But I am recovering from runner's knee and needed to sit out for a few months. At the end of December I will put my running shoes back on.
