I got accepted! (Read 800 times)

I got accepted to run the Bridger Ridge Run in Bozeman, MT http://www.winddrinkers.org/BRR/BridgerRidge.html.

I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew as I have ten weeks to prepare.  I think the plan is to just get the milage up slowly and run it like a long nice and easy run and not worry about it being a race.  I volunteered at an aid station two years ago and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had.  We had to hike from the finish line 5 miles to the top of the last mountain (4500 feet to 8700) carrying gatorade and food.

Anyway, I don't know if I was a random selection or if my 50 word essay did the trick, but I'm in.

    I hope I make it.

or maybe it was because you volunteered 2 yrs ago & carried those supplies 5 miles to the top of the mountain.  You should have priority  for acceptance after doing that !!

          anyway good luck!
