We're going to let DS watch it for the first time, tonight. He's almost 12. There are a lot of comic greats in that film who are no longer with us...Alex, Madeliine, Cleavon, Harvey, Slim, Dom. When Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder die I expect I will be a wreck.
and this, also. I watched this kick as a kid and remember vividly Alex, prior to the play, laughing his ass off that the Saints were attempting a 63 yard field goal. RIP, #71.
