Fixing Shoe Question (Read 515 times)

I had an issue with my shoe over the weekend. Did 6.5 miles and ended up with a big blister on my heel. I have a new pad in the shoe to help with the pain in the ball of my foot. It helped the pain but caused my sock to move around (which resulted in the blister). It also tore up the inside heel area of the shoe so it's a little rough now in a spot. The shoes are fairly new so I don't want to get rid of them. How can I fix the area of the shoe so it's not rough? Duck tape?
