Actually, while the article is funny, there is something to it. http://www.active.com/story.cfm?story_id=12998&category=running http://www.marathonguide.com/training/articles/MandBFuelOnFat.cfm
I just read this and I cannot believe my eyes" http://www.runtheplanet.com/pages/refer/articles/carboloading.php I haven't run any marathons yet but I did carbo load before my long runs. I will try to do my next long run without carbo loading. SKB
As for carbo-loading ... all I know for sure is that it's definitely possible to OVERDO it. And ya don't wanna do that. This time around, I'm just eating healthy and slighly stressing carbs.
Carb farts?
Carb sharts......
Ooh...that would be miserable. Speaking of, my kid likes the word shart. And he can use it properly in a sentence. For instance "mom, I need a new pair of underwear; I sharted myself." k
LMAO!!!!! Now ya just gotta train him to get ya beer.
Believe you me, I'm workin' on it! k
