But no more excuses.  I'm running today.  Starting short and slow, but accepting it and not trying to do too much and burn out.  Wish me luck!

Good luck!  I came back in February after an almost 6 year hiatus!  I made the mistake of thinking that I should be as fast as I was six years ago, pushed myself a little too hard, and I'm now dealing with posterior shin splints.  Take it super slow, and have fun!

Back in the saddle, after six years off...

Stay healthy and uninjured... so much for that.

      Fall HM.

Welcome back! I love the "oh my god am I dead?" workout type. Smile

Good luck!!!!  You can do it!!!  Focus on the enjoyment of being outside, free from all your responsibilities, expanding your lungs and your horizons.

Use your momentum...keep going.  You know you can make it.

            Good Luck mate!!!

Are you starting just now or getting back on the road after 2 years?

When I run I feel like a swallow

Because you are free like a bird?

Nope, because of all the flies I eat.

Just getting back. Was up to 4.5 mi earlier, but suffered some injuries and got away from it.
