ESPN 360 has it online, but it depends on your ISP. I have ATT dsl and it is included.
MTA: http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/index

I went 'off the grid' (meaning no cable or satellite) several years ago and the ONLY thing I miss is all the college football. I get HD broadcasts via an antenna on my roof but, of course, selection is limited.
My school, Texas, is one of the worst at limiting free views of their games. A few years ago I could easily find the game live on internet radio which was good enough for me. Then the fricking UofT decided you had to pay for that too so Yahoo radio stopped providing it for free. Then I moved over to one of the local AM radio stations in Texas that broadcast over the internet - that worked for two years. Then those greedy bastids at UT pulled that plug. Next, I found ESPN360.com which had almost every UT game on streaming video - ShangriLa!!! Guess what? I haven't seen a single game on ESPN360.com this year yet. UT a$$hats must have found out about that one and shut it down too.
Just a rant brought on by the subject of this thread. |

| If you can't find a way to watch the game but want to feel closer to JoePa, how about renting the movie Cocoon? |

AroundTheHorn:
Makes no sense? (Sorry: I was on vacation all week.)
My wife and I rarely watch TV. Mainly PBS, Steelers, misc. shows that we can take or leave, and half the time end up saying, Oh, had we not watched ______ we'd have cleaned, read, done "something else" or whathaveyou. Cable would just suck us in to the boob tube more: Ooooh: They're putting in a retaining wall! Let's watch ... meanwhile, I can't seem to find the time to replace my own. I gotta tell you, I truly regret all the time I wasted watching Friends. And I used to watch ER, too. I will never get that time back.
But toss this in to your Makes No Sense mix: We do have an HD TV. Our first TV we ever bought, replacing the one we got as a wedding gift that will kinda be outdated anyway soon enough. We also watch a lot of movies, so we appreciate the larger size and image. And the Steelers in HD are great. And nature shows or whatever on PBS HD. (We're lucky to live in a place where we can get a decent amount of channels in HD just over the air.)
That Penn State tip worked great. Wasn't near HD (I have a cable to hook from my computer to my TV. Works awesome for instant downloading of Netflix) but better than watching on a partial computer screen and my dad doesn't have HD anyway.
Having just come back from a week of camping, w. no TV, no newspaper, no ... omigod ... cell phone service, believe me, there's something to be said for being off the grid. Kinda ... I'd miss this place. And my Garmin.
And that picture makes sense: Darth is using a Brita/Pur to desalineate seawater. Sure, it may not make the water potable to humans, but it's acceptable in a pinch for Darth Vader. |

Nothing makes sense if you don't watch cable.
