Question for C25K Finishers (Read 1055 times)

I finished the course a few weeks back (still on the 30 min runs every few days, mind) and I did have to repeat a week or two, but I also missed out the 28 min run week since jogging an extra two minutes at that point is almost negligible. Got the flu, had some days where it wasn't really possible to run due to weather or obligations, but I kept at it where possible and only had to repeat two weeks. Bit of advice - keep it slow if you're having trouble, and breathe deeply. Go for time, not distance. And finally, listen to your body - if you're wondering why you're still running 15 minutes in and you're thinking about walking instead, take that thought aside for a moment and beat the hell out of it. On the other hand, if you're feeling crunching or stabbing pains frequently, or your back is giving you serious hell, start walking. Don't feel compelled to finish, especially if your body's protesting harder than you'd expect.
