Strength Train legs? (Read 266 times)


Dad on the run.

     

    My legs may not be huge but this is my 5th 5K and only my second since I have been cross training and I can say when I was done I felt no leg fatigue or pain. All I do is body weight workouts.

     

    Squats

    one legged squats

    front lunge

    back lunge

    side lunge

    jump thrust

    frog jumps

    box jumps

    calf raises

    romanian dead lifts (think that's the correct name)

    Hills

    Chasing the sub 20 5K.
