I have been dealing with the Heat...and walking quite a bit during runs... Even going early it is in the 90's lately with the humidity making it feel like 100+

I hear ya. The heat and humidity just absolutely kills me. This summer has been brutal around Boston, but the last week or so, I have finally been able to get in some runs in sub-70 degree weather. I'm pretty much all done running races in the summer. For the first time ever, I actually stopped to walk during a 5 mile race back in early June. That race wasn't fun at all.
I only just started running about 1 month ago, in the middle of July, in 80 degree average temps, high humidity and strong sun. I figure it might serve as a motivator to suddenly notice how much easier my runs are when the temps start going down. But I don't really know what I was thinking when I suddenly decided to start this running thing in the midst of summer...
