Beats me. I go offline for a while and miss 10 pages of.... not sure what. But I like pie (would rather have wine than bear). That giant pie cake thing didn't look half bad...
Not if it makes sense.

oops. i'd rather have wine than beer. Eh, I guess I would rather have wine than bear.
I go to sleep and six pages later you're still talking about food and beer!
Nooooo. Somehow I'm down more than a pound this morning and hoping that it sticks.

First impressions can be misleading - as I tried to point out in my initial post in this thread. I'm not a bad boy, but I will defend myself when attacked.
Attacked? When? Where?

I don't run
This place reminds me of the old RW L&O.
Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket?

I'm far too important and busy to read all of this. Cliff notes anyone? Feel free to embellish.
Feel sick and dirty, more dead than alive.
I'm confused!
I slowly disappeared around May, and on my attempted return I find this thread... (I mean I feel like a new-comer all over again)
What has been going on? I managed to get to page 10 and learned that RW online have a lot of spam (yuck) that people are moving here (yey) and then it gets all fuzzy Maybe I just do not get US humor.
I'm still in the same community that gives the constructive kick in the behind when needed, right? (just checking)
Some german beer available, if there are any takers.

Hello.
All I want to know is why George decided to append "-rw" at the end of his username here.
Anyway. This forum has a PM function that works better than RWOL's. Perhaps that might be a useful tool in this type situation.
George, you are a nice guy who has been super helpful to many folks for years on RWOL. Sorry your home got hit by a spammicane and people are trying to move away. Change is hard.
Anyway, I know a great many RAers in real life, bhearn a bit better than most. If his post does not come across as super welcoming, then, perhaps read it with a funny accent if that helps.
Yall are welcome. Smooches all around.
(I suspect George went with -rw because he wants the ability to read and write on these forums. )
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.

Much to my disappointment, wcrunner was already taken. To hopefully avoid confusion yet still make it easy for the RWOL folks to identify me, I appended -rw like RW did several iterations ago on their upgrades when they merged all the Rodale forums under one system.
Hey Stevie, when I invoked your name, we found common ground. Then the cookies and beer talk started. Then most of us had a group hug before it was over.
See, your name can unite groups of people.

Yes, but you could have gone with -ra.
(that? Is a bit of a joke. No serious-ity intended).
All will be right in the world.
Gonna be alright.
