and if you want to add another 6-7 hrs from SF you can go up to Trinidad (n. of Eureka/Arcata) to the "other" California Moonstone Beach. You will be sure to see some skin at some of the beaches up that way (on the extremely rare warm days that is). No boardwalk however. I worked as a chef at a restaurant that overlooked this Moonstone Beach while in college at HSU many many moons ago. but I digress
