Forums >General Running>Nice NYT article on sub-elite runners
Nothing new here I suppose but nice to see some decent writing on the sport and a description of what many runners are striving for.

I would re-word slightly: It is the eternal quest for improvement."
I like the article. Even sub-sub-sub elites can relate.
As a sub-sub-sub (-sub?) elite, I agree that I can relate. It's the aiming towards the elite or towards the good/ towards excellence. Damn I've got a long way to go but I'm gonna keep putting in the efforts.
I could've said these words myself!
