Ashland Railroad 10k (Read 315 times)

We just had the 30th running of this race and the organizers put on a great race. Ashland is a small town about 20 miles north of Richmond, VA. It is great place to run and they hold several races a year. The10k field had about 300 people. The weather was @50+ degrees, sunny, but with a some wind. Pretty good race conditions except the head wind the last couple of miles. I didn't PR the course but I am okay with the 46:44 since I haven't been hitting the speed work much. I finished 55th overall...middle of the pack as usual and only about 20 seconds off last years race. The 45-49 age group is a tough group. Big grin
