Am I the only one who doesn't care in the least about Olympic Basketball? or Baseball or Tennis? Maybe it's because they are such big-money sports which don't need the Olympics for exposure. Olympic dilettantes, they are.

I have no interest in basketball. The NBA against a bunch of teams that aren't playing pro ball at nearly the same level. Blah. Roll eyes

And don't worry about baseball. It's not going to be in London for the next summer games. Softball and baseball were voted out.

I'm actually kind of bummed that baseball got offed because baseball is played at a high level around the world.

I'm waiting for Olympic Aussie Rules Football.

Love the dudes in the big hats and white lab coats (they are the Goal Umpires. I wanted to find a picture of one signaling a "behind", which looks like he's shooting a fake gun, but I gave up.)



It would be hella more fun to watch than that dancing-with-a-streamer thing.
