    I've followed a few running blogs over the last year.

    What blogs have you all been enjoying?

        +1. I'll refrain from piling on the superlatives, but you owe it to yourself to check out Jeff's blog.

        And thanks for the recommendation!

            My two faves are both written by women who do not update their blogs nearly enough. Ultrarunner Sabrina Moran (or Little or something):  http://notallergictoadventure.blogspot.com/?m=1, and this broad:  http://tanyas.wordpress.com/

            Sorry about the crap links. It's a phone thing. Both are worth the grueling cut-and-paste effort.

            Why is it sideways?

              Thanks for the blog-love. I feel bad I have not been updating as much. Lots going on in my life with career change, little one, etc.

                Lots of good good reading for me to catch up on in your blog. Wondering if you've read Yukio Mishima's 'Sun and Steel'? Just started it. Would love to hear what you think of it, particularly in relation to running. Future blog post? Smile

                  Some interesting blogs suggested here, there is a sort of community of running blogs and that can be found here :

                  http://runningbloggers.com/

                  One blog I like, which I follow is :

                  http://tinyrunner85.wordpress.com/2013/07/16/i-ran-to-russia-and-it-only-took-24-days/

                  And on twitter there are some really good accounts to follow such as :

                  @Cool_Running

                  @Runfitmag

                  @MarathonKoach

                  @marathontalk

                  @runnersworld

                  @runnersworlduk

                  Any one else know any good running twitter accounts ?

                  And finally I should shamelessly plug my blog really he he he although its the first ive ever done , so don't expect much, but feel free to check it out and have a read. I like to add route maps and links to interesting stories or articles I find on running , which others might like, whilst also talking about my training for the Dublin Marathon this year. and way enjoy, don't enjoys its all good Smile

                    Sub Three is a great blog which focuses mainly on running but on occasion ventures into other topics.

                          I followed this one for a long time. For me it read like a soap opera, following Vanessa from her home in Canada to San Diego to living in an RV with her boyfriend, running all the while. And the transformation into ultrarunner. Fascinating to see her form as a person.

                          Thank you all for the great links. I'm exciting to have some new reading material! Particularly Jeff's blog...philosophy and running...yes! I was a huge George Sheehan fan 15-20 years ago. It's fantastic to have another great philosopher runner writer!

                                Steve Magness' blog is right on top of running issues, very informative, and backs it up.

                                Posts on  running form, active vs passive components of running, barefoot running, how shoes work (or not), stride length and stride rate... outstanding!
