When I entered my run in my log yesterday I noticed that I finally broke the 1000 mile mark. It took 14 months but now at age 43 I'm pretty happy about it. In the previous 25 years I may have run 100 miles.

Does this mean I'm finally a runner?

I'm looking forward to 1000 miles plus in the next 12 months!

    2012 Goals:

1st Marathon: Brainerd Jaycees Run For The Lakes Marathon - April28, 2012

      Congrats.

Run until the trail runs out.

(I guess I need to start working on my pace now.)

This morning I just managed to scrape in my 1000 miles for the year after suffering two separate injuries during the year so I suppose on balance I should be happySmile

Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.

              Congrats.

Run until the trail runs out.

You're a runner!  Congrats!  You should join the 1000 Mile Club.

Half marathons are more fun and 10% as much pain. (Spaniel)

                    Nice work! Keep on rolling.

                      You're a runner, and apparently you're hooked!

I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

                        Nice!  Congrats!
