This is an example of the sort of ads they're putting up on FB:

Next thing you know they'll be peddling those "toning" shoes.  Essential fitness articles, my ass!

      Zoomy, that's YOUR ass?

      Hubba hubba!

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

Oh, I wish (well, that kinda looks like my ass...20 YEARS ago).  Perhaps I should stop all this running and biking nonsense and see what sort of "exercises" Active.com recommends. Tongue

From an advertising stand point, the ad did it's job. It got yours (and my) attention. Regardless of the ethics behind (pun intended) the message, the ad works. I would be lying if I said I can't stand looking at this ad or would hate to see more. Thanks for pointing it out. I missed it on FB.

Is that an effective ad, though?  If an ad makes me not want to buy a service or product has it still done its job?

They recommend 6Xcredit card entry repeats so they can gouge you with their excessive "service" fees.

              what are lions?

yeah, they look like vs ads..minus the 'rear printed graphics'.  tho if they did make such undies for us lady runners, i'd suggest "TMI" as in "too many intervals"

Will lifting my credit card repeatedly get me toned?
