Plantar Fibromatosis - Anyone know anything about this? (Read 410 times)

Went to the podiatrist today 'just because there was this small bump on the side of my foot'...coincidentally was going to sign up for Chicago also today....however he said "Hmm - you need to get a second opinion on this" and gave me articles, another doctor's business card and said 'hopefully you won't need to get this removed (it also goes under my foot) because you probably would need to stop running'....and of course when I went running after I got home - it hurt! I know it's psychological :-) but...anyone else have this? lisak
