feeling sorry for myself (Read 975 times)

Hey Sara Anyways, I encourage you to pursue that higher degree, if that's what draws you, as I think we could use a lot more women in science to shake up some of these old guys and spread some new ideas around. Big grin As for your Percocet, perhaps it will better enable you to keep up with our crazy groups rambling stories. When you're feeling particularly brave, take a browse through the "off the beaten path" forum.. hehhe. Wink
And funny that the MALE student would mention the need for more women??? Wink Percocet will certainly help keep up with us, even if only for minutes at a time. We aren't crazy, honest, but like the song says, just a little unwell!

That song's not fair! I have two broken ribs! Do you have any idea how much it hurts to laugh? Smile Anyway, I have a couple of songs for you: The first one's annoying, I must warn you. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/badgers.php Okay, fine, I give up on the other one for now, even though it is much better. It has to do with monkies, singing, and a catchy phrase of "I like you"... There is sort of good news on the police report though. I am allowed to ammend my statement. I don't know how good it will do since I don't have anything to say except I got to the sign, I stopped, I didn't see them, but I remember there were a lot of trees in the way, and since I didn't see them I went. Then, I may have caught sight of them just before they hit me and it seemed like they were going really fast. However, that may just be my perception since I was about to be hit. Oh well, at least it is there for my insurance company to see. Sara

I found the other one, but I might like "badger, badger" better. It had been a long time since I had seen either one. Here it is: http://www.care2.com/ecards/build/1/5937

I'm glad you could enjoy. I got a reply from the race director at the marathon I was going to attend. She will let me roll over the race for next year. I am not sure this will work for me because at that time, I will no longer be living here (IN) and I could be very far away in graduate school. I am not sure what will happen. Although, I am grateful the race director was willing to accomodate my healing process. In other news, I received a letter from the lawyer of the people who hit me. I haven't called my insurance company yet about the accident. I am trying to ammend my police report first, but the officer has not been in his office the last two days. So, the lawyer said that I would have a lawsuit if I did not respond within fourteen days. Awesome. That's okay, it should be taken care of by then. And, if I can't get a hold of the officer on Monday, I will go to my insurance company, let them know what happened, tell them that the police is report is pending, and then I will call the other people's lawyer and let him know that I do in fact have insurance, I am just trying to get the police officer to talk to me. Oh the joys of car accidents. This makes me not want to own a car again. Unfortunately, I can't quite get away with that. As it is, my mom has to drive me to school for a month once it starts up. I am not allowed to drive again until September 15, due to my broken ribs. However, I will talk to my doctor on August 8, and see if I can convince him of an earlier time. Wink But, I probably can't.
