        Imminent Catastrophe

          I think it's time for a FAQ.

"Able to function despite imminent catastrophe"

"To obtain the air that angels breathe you must come to Tahoe"--Mark Twain

"The most common question from potential entrants is 'I do not know if I can do this' to which I usually answer, 'that's the whole point'.--Paul Charteris, Tarawera Ultramarathon RD.

          √ Tahoe Rim Trail 100M 20/21 July 2013

          Boston Marathon 21 April 2014

          Tahoe Rim Trail 100M 19/20 July 2014

then there's "DAH" for dumb__husband and DSW for dumb__wife. Heh.

If you don't know them, I'm impressed. You're lucky. If you don't use them, you have my gratitude. Running is not that complicated. I suspect most people would run more often, better, farther, much happier - and faster - if they didn't hear any of that babble for the first few years of their running life.
