Fight The Future

    Do people do hills at a certain stage of the Hansons plan? I'm thinking hills are great, but not sure if its best to potentially impair the easy days with hills, or to change the speed targets for the SOS workouts

      I just mixed in hills as a variable on several different types of runs, not focusing on any particular workout.

       

      Sometimes it was during my long run, sometimes on a MP tempo run, sometimes on an easy day.

       

      My goal marathon was decently hilly so I felt that I needed to mix in hills on a decent amount of my workouts to prepare for it.

       

      Nothing like hill repeats or anything like that though.

      Age: 50 Weight: 224 Height: 6'3" (Goal weight 195)
