Another race I'm considering is The Vineyard Run on October 6 in Grapevine. My wife has just started the Couch to 5k program and is thinking of that race as her first 5k. Big grin

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

I was thinking of doing the Vineyard run also. It's in my in-law's neighborhood, so I could probably pass it off as a family get-together day. Plus there' s a free wine-tasting after. I like the prizes for this one - wine glasses instead of trophies/medals. If people run about the same pace as last year, I might have a shot at one.
