During a race, what is your best source of motivation?
I'm compiling a list in preparation for an upcoming marathon.

I get very inspired thinking about internet trolls.
not bad for mile 25
Are you trying to catch them, or running away from them?
I speed up whenever the course goes under a bridge.
Me too. Especially when the trolls smell like cheap wine and sleep in cardboard boxes.
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I recently had a thug in the crappy neighborhood near my office ask me "What kind of iPod is that" while I was out for a run. An easy run quickly turned into a fartlek. Very motivating.......
Rebuilding my aerobic base....racing next year.....nothing to see here....move along now.
