Heart Rate Monitor Advice (Read 547 times)

C-R

Probably covered a few time before but please forgive me on this. I currently have a Timex that is FUBAR and looking for something new. I noticed lots of Garmin threads and was hoping to get some pros and cons of various HRMs (features, ease of use, cost, etc.) as I search for a new one. Also, how exactly do you incorporate HRM into your training and has it helped? Thanks in advance

Well, the advantage of my garmin is it tracks my heart rate vs time vs distance vs elevation. It's pretty easy to use, once you set a screen up to display the numbers nice and large for you. Since the roads around here have been covered in snow and ice pretty much constantly since getting my garmin, I haven't done a whole lot of heart rate training yet.
