What is your favorite beer? (Read 2842 times)

Bjørnmannen

I was away from Nashville for a few years and sorely missed Yazoo.  Now that I'm pack, that's pretty much all I drink.  Their Hef, Pale Ale, Gertz, and Dos Perros are my personal favorites.

    I miss Yazoo  (and Nashville)!

Does anyone else brew their own beer? My current favorites are my latest creations -- finishing off an Oktoberfest and about to bottle a honey porter. But if I had to pick an all-time favorite, it'd probably be something from Yazoo. I really like that place and just about everything they make.

That Yazoo was great. I hope to enjoy it sometime again post race.

Tonight I ran only because my group ran from my favorite brewery. The Church Brew Works.

I brew here.  I have triple Belgium fermenting now and putting together wishlist of brews over couple months.  Did an Octoberfet a couple years ago, wish I had done again last fall.

Dont know about favorites- spent weekend in Denver, Boulder, and Ft. Collins for brewery tours- O'Dells, Breckenridge, and Avery were all awesome.  Can't go wrong with Bells out of Kalamazoo, MI either.

                knee wrecker

I just gotta give it up for Ballast Point Imperial Porter...snagged one at whole foods tonight and it was immense! Just HUGE and complex at the same time. Right now I'm drinking a Mana White. It could make me start thinking about lighter beer again...

A year.  I'm glad that you didn't drink that one right away.  I have had this one fresh and while good you need to let it sit.  If I had to pick one style of beer that aging works wonders with it is barleywine.
