What Pace mode to use? I currently use "Pace" which is an instantaneous read, but it varies so much on the run. What pace setting gives the best read during the run? Confused

Lap Pace. Then set it to autolap every mile or kilometer. That is pretty good.

I'm using average pace for the moment Big grin

Trent-does this give you current lap or previous lap pace?

I use a combination of the average pace (set to maximum level of averaging to avoid rapid changes) plus average pace across the whole run on the 'custom' screen. ... this is on a G201. Neil UK Smile

            Running ... just keep running!

Trent-does this give you current lap or previous lap pace?
Current. It gets more stable as the distance goes up, as you would expect.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Yep. So in the first couple hundreths of a mile into each lap it may be erratic, but then it stablizes.
