Sounds like the definition of a pescetarian, not sure how this is vegan.
Except for fish and chicken, I'm a vegetarian. And turkey.

My friend was vegetarian except for bacon. For years.
Now she is paleo. Which is like meatitarian except for nonstarchyveggies.

I find this perfectly admirable. Usually when my pescetarian (never heard this before, but hate rolling out: OvoLactoPesco Vegetarian) conduct I get: "Oh, I could never give up XYZ." So, I tell them, "Well, don't then. Give up all the other meats and just eat your favorite. You're still making a positive change." Nobody has taken me up on it yet.
Glad to hear someone does it.

I have never tried hobgoblin, but regular goblin is damn tasty.

Yeah well, now she eats more meat that ever before so probably 15 years of vegetarianism wont net cancel out her net lifetime meat consumption
I have to say the bacon thing made sense after awhile. She gave up beef when her kids were babies and the Jack in the Box down the street was the epicenter of the 1st major ecoli breakout. Which led to giving up pork and chicken for trich and salmonella fears.
But can anything really survive in bacon? Especially crispy bacon?
Although over the years she had more bouts of "food poisoning" than anyone I ever knew.
