     Dude, that's a gnome.

MTA: They taste nothing like elves.

I thought they both tasted sort of like chicken.

I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.

      With an extra tingle.

Well at least someone here is making relevance to the subject.

Elves are stringier and more gamey, but leaner.  Gnomes are very marbled.

I knew somebody would call that out, but I was fresh out of elf jokes.

            Blame those damn Expedia lobbyists!

Hey now.  Expedia user #4 scowls at you.

On the plus side, neither have been given growth hormones.

                I personally prefer soy elf.

I helped get the original Expedia on the air.  I even have a cool award and stuff.  Ooo aaah.  The first four user IDs in expedia are the big cheese, the development manager, the development/production liaison, and the production program manager (yo!). Travelocity beat us out by a bit, but their first version was terrrrible.  Our biggest competition out the gate was something called 'cheap tickets'.

Back in 1996, a big piece of the initial production process involved printing paper tickets and snail mailing them to people when they made reservations.  Yes, "etickets" and "ticketless travel" were not quite ready for primetime.

Oh, and if you ever wonder what a 'production program manager' does, it is TOTALLY the job done by that dude in Office Space who has to try to explain what he does to the Bobs, can't, and gets all flustered.  "So basically you don't do anything..."

Has Expedia resorted to pink slime?

I can't tell you.  I know that 1996-1999, we used the green slime from Nickelodeon.

I see how you avoided saying "I don't know".

                        Oh crap.

                          Heh.

That is why the serial killer in Washington had a pig farm.

As a native of Washington, I can't rest easy until I mention that the pig-farmer serial killer was in British Columbia. Not that Washington doesn't have its own list of infamy...

                            There, I feel better.
