I realize virtually everyone going to Boston has made arrangements long since but wanted to post this in case anyone ran into a problem and still needs just one room.  This bed and breakfast in Somerville has one.  My brother and I, who are running, originally booked both rooms as our spouses were going to accompany us.  However, we both now find we are traveling alone and have 2 rooms booked, which is not totally necessary.

I contacted the owner and let her know if she would have anyone contact her wanting a room, my brother and I could certainly co-exist in a single room and she could accomodate another guest or guests. 

I believe the nightly rate was $80, but I could be wrong.  Anyway, if anyone has an interest, just contact them using the info given in the site above.  There is no need to "sublet" or "exchange" or anything w/us; just contact the B&B directly.
