I have a Polar HRM (FT7). Will the Wearlink transmitter work with any of the Garmin GPS watches?

No. Garmin works with Ant+.

Polar's transmitter won't work with a Garmin unit, but certain Polar straps will accept the Garmin transmitter (if the strap's snaps are positioned appropriately).
