    Hello all, I am new to running and to this group.

    Im fairly out of shape and I'm looking for a friend to start running. 

    I started to c25k and did fine until my "buddy" stop working with me. 

    Im 25 and I'm only about 150 but I feel like crap! I need to seriously start running...

     

    So, I need a buddy to work with me and help motivate me... Lets go! Smile

      Take a look at one of the many mileage groups here and join one (or more) that fit your goals.  You'll get to join lots of folks, and even get a relentless pace bunny pursuing your log of miles.

          At the top of the page, right under the RunningAhead logo click on "Community" and then on "User Groups" right underneath that.

          In the "find a group" search box try some search terms like "beginner" or "C25K"

           

          You can then click on some group names and browse the groups to find some like minded running souls!

          You may want to consider making your training log public (http://www.runningahead.com/options/log) then select "Allow everyone to see my running log". That way folks can see how you are getting on and "motivate you" all the more!

            Hey man! I just started running also. This past Monday to be exact. I am also trying to navigate through this site Tongue maybe since we are newbies we can motivate each other? I currently run 6-8 miles every other day. I have no idea how I can do this much, but I hope this community goes good for me and you!
