I have a serious question about American Idol:
Do you ever feel guilty during watching the early audition rounds? Seriously. When that show started (and I got roped into watching it), sure there were some bad singers that were mocked. And that was good clean wholesome fun.
But these days, I'm pretty sure some of those people .... well, have issues. I'm pretty sure some of them have had mental and emotional disabilities. Or diagnosable psychiatric conditions. Seriously, sometimes I feel a little sheepish watching it.
Baaaaa.
Yeah, I do sometimes. I know they can't do a psychiatric evaluation on every person, but they don't have to put them on TV either. To make matters worse they usually put them in a room to let them rant, then follow them out of the building and into the parking lot. But I still watch.  |
