Eric, love the site. However - how do I get the route to show the actual mileage? When I entered a route, the map made a box and calculated the distance, it did not follow the roads to calculate the route distance. What did I do wrong?? Thanks! LWC

The only way to get a route to follow a road, and calculate the distance of that road, is to click along every twist and turn. The google map API does not currently allow automated road following.

I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
