Website Help (Read 52 times)

We're trying to do some fundraising and donor recognition on our website.  One of  the ideas we came up with was a blueprint of our building and donors could "buy" a square yard of our building.  Obviously, some names are going to be larger and hard to fit within each square, so we would like to have a mouseover with each square yard popping up so a viewer can read the whole name.

To the Web and Coding smarties:  Is this possible?  Must this be done in JavaScript?  Is there a tutorial somewhere?  Will I kill myself (we have room for about 6000 spaces) trying to do this?

There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

Doesn't have to use javascript can be done in only css a la (http://kushagragour.in/lab/hint/) Could have some compatability issues with it depending on if you care about supporting older browsers or not.  Lots of available stuff to do this in javascript as well.

Unless you can drive it via a database somehow, you may kill yourself.

Thanks.  If my log starts showing many zeros, we know what happened to me.
