Mile # 100 today (Read 1820 times)

Beginner all over again

Yes, only two zeros......... but for the last ten years, I sat, sat on the couch, sat at my desk, sat at the computer, sat over homework with the kids.........sat, sat, sat..........couch potato. Smile I started just walking slowly, 10 weeks ago. And then walked some more, then walked faster, added in some jogging segments, and. . . . now I am walk/jogging 3 times a week and today I completed my 100th mile! Wink 10 weeks, 100 miles. A little Runniversary of sorts for me. Thanks, everyone, for encouraging us out--of-shape wannabe-Runners. See you at the starting line! Smile

Good Job sticking with it and your picking up Steam!

Keep on chugging and you will be up to 100 mile months in no time. Are you signed up for another race? Always helps get me out the door.

Good work, you are on the right path/plan. I am always happy to see someone do well. I started with .5 mile jog a day, and now....

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”

Excellent. You got it started rollin'. Now you just gotta keep it rollin', and that'll get easier every day!

Just because running is simple does not mean it is easy.
