Here is mine...about a third of a mile from the finish...so slap-happy at being so close to being DONE with that misery. Thanks, Rick! Wink

Anyone else got some good ones to share...?

Too bad Rick didn't catch my "blowing kisses." Gah, I can't help but mug for friends' and family's cameras no matter how shitty a race I'm having. I take my "cheese" very seriously. Wink

This was for the race photographer, crouched in the middle of the road. I couldn't resist these shots.

I got 2 in, here's the other...

Zoom, what shoes do you have on in that picture? They're an awesome color.

I like it. You look happy. Goofy, but happy. It also looks like an exaggerated robot walk.
I also never seem to be caught photo-wise in a good stride. Always look like I'm about to crumple or that I'm barely moving.

NB 902. I stocked-up when they discontinued them, just in case I don't love the 903 (that orange-ish shoe in my avatar) as much. Both are great shoes--at least for my needs. Kinda nice that they are flashy. I may be slow, but at least I can run in cute shoes. Wink

I did the best that I could for not even having the camera on before I saw you approaching. Tammy is the one that actually spotted you, or else I probably would have gotten a photo of your backside! Besides, it's hard taking pictures while holding an HTFU sign at the same time. Roll eyes

I'm amazed you guys picked me out of that mob at all (even with the garish get-up). I swear it seemed like SO many more people in the 25k this year than last, especially towards the finish. I don't recall being in such a full pack.

It was most definitely crowded! I was a bit frustrated with the crowds (that's my polite way of saying I was ready to start tripping people and pushing them out of the way after trying to find Tammy for 45 minutes after her race!) by the time we say you. I had told Tammy what you'd be wearing and she spotted you before I did. Eryn actually picked us out of the crowd. She was by us though, so I wasn't able to get a pic of her.

Rick, I just gotta tell you...seeing you guys standing there with that big HTFU sign and those silly grins absolutely made my day! Everything else about that race still completely ticks me off, but that brief moment was worth it all. I just wish we'd have been able to actually meet in person. Next year we need to all exchange cell #s so that we can coordinate meeting spots before and after the race better. And next year I WILL go sub 2:30...maybe even sub 15 if I can get my extra weight off and have my breathing well controlled.

It was great seeing you as well, Zoomy. Glad we played a positive role in your race! We'll definitely have to pre-plan the next common race better. I was bummed we didn't meet everyone before the race too. We'll probably be up your way in August though for our annual fishing trip. We always go to Ludington like the third week in August, but no guarantees this year given the price of gas and everything else that is going up. Towing a 23' boat and a 33' fifth wheel trailer does not get one good gas mileage. Roll eyes

If you do end up in Ludington I would totally go up and meet with you guys. That's only about 45 minutes from my front door. Smile
