Engle left a prison in West Virginia on Wednesday morning and took up residence in a Greensboro halfway house in the afternoon.

"The first thing he wanted to do was go to Starbucks," his father, Richard Engle, told News & Record reporter Robert Lopez in a story on page A2 of today's newspaper. "it was wonderful."
