We've Got Big Hills
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

Sitting in the car is worse because you can fidget around even less, especially if you are driving. I've been dealing with piriformis / hamstring tightness since September. In November I raced two half marathons and right after that sat a combined 9 hours in the car. That could not have helped. I spend two hours in the car traveling to and from work, and sit at a desk all day at work.
I've been trying to get up and do some light stretching every hour or so while at work. That seems to be helping.
There is a long dark road ahead of me.
lace 'em up!
Thanks for posting Trent.

Ironic that you link to this. I've been having a real hard time staying awake while reading boring and poorly written requirements documents at work. Yesterday, I discovered I could concentrate better and stay awake better if I stood up while reading. The documents are still boring and poorly written, but that's a different problem. Thanks for posting Trent.
I assume that reading boring and poorly written posts here doesn't help either.
The tangents are moot. Set the bar low. Crawl under it.
Yeah, I tied Dobblebock.
It does... but mainly because there's enough humor scattered about to keep me coming back for a few laughs.
Bacon Party!
Excellent!
I use an exercise ball as my desk chair at work. Sometimes I balance; sometimes I bounce; sometimes I roll under my desk to stretch or do some ab work.
And, the project of the week is to convert my home desk to a standing desk - if nothing else, it might discourage me from spending too much time online.

I've been trying to think of a way I could build a platform for my treadmill for a laptop. Something easily removable so I can still run on the TM. But as much time as I waste on here I could easily knock off 10000 steps.
A guy in my town did that... there was in article in the local paper about it. I'll try to find it.
Edit: Here's the guy's blog:

OK he is waaaay fancier than I would get. I'm thinking plywood. I think a simple box design would work, the bars on the treadmill could provide enough structure since I plan on removing it for actual running.
Of course maybe I should just start with watching my TV shows on the TM and see how that goes before I try typing.
I had seen an interview with this guy before I think (the mayo clinic guy)

Pretty interesting stuff
Well that was freaking easy. I decided since I have been thinking about this for ages I should at least get off my keester and take some measurements and well I should find a board just to get an idea and ...hmmmm what do I have...
It fits PERFECTLY, doesnt wiggle at all and has a nice non slip surface. (Yes that is THE STEP circa 1993)
