Anybody else going to see Wall-E when it comes out in theaters
We, and our 2 1/2 year old son, thoroughly enjoyed Cars, also from the same producers. |

I haven't even heard of it. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to have to check it out before we go see it... my 3 year old is still terrified of Rattatouie (can't figure out how to spell it for the life of me. Where's Sandy?? ) I don't really know why he was so scared of that rat. I thought it was adorable. |

Wall-E is being done by the same Pixasr guys who did Cars, Toy Story 1/2, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, The Incredibles. All of which were excellent. And for some reason, when I see the previews of it, I can't help but think that this is gonna be their first turkey. I just don't have a great feeling about it. Maybe that's because it's already been done and it sucked out loud:

Quote from zoom-zoom on 6/5/2008 at 8:48 PM:C'mon...Short Circuit was cute. I think Wall•E looks fantastic. He puts a bra on his face...most of the RA guys should be able to identify with the little guy.
Well, I hope Wall•E is good. Really. Because my kids need something new in the DVD rotation. It's just that I can remember seeing previews of all those other Pixar flicks and thinking, "wow, that looks sweet." When I see previews of Wall•E, I'm always like, "meh."
Short Circuit was cute. But I am willing to slam things I love/like/care about for the sake of a good punchline. That's how I roll, bitches. |

I've been a big fan of all the Pixar films up to this point. Now that they are no longer an independent studio, I have a feeling their quality will suffer. Now that Disney owns them I have a feeling we'll be seeing Toy Story 3, 4, & 5 in the not too distant future. |

I didn't get excited about that from the trailer, but Rottentomatoes.com is giving it good reviews. My mom and nephew will be here next week, so I have a feeling we'll take DS and my nephew to see it. |

I think dd will LOVE kung-fu panda. I wish I could take her Saturday, but I dont have anyone to watch ds and he is still too little to sit through. She is very into physical comedy. She was busting a gut at the dog pulling the grill in Over the Hedge. Seriously was laughing so hard that all the adults in the theater were laughing at her laughing.

That reminds me...some asshat took his 3 little boys to see indiana jones last weekend when we went. They were probably 2, 4 and 6? The 2 year old didnt make it past the opening scene before he started bawling. Nice move.

Dane laughs like your DD...it's totally infectious. More than once he's laughed hard enough to make himself vomit--of course, it stops being funny by that point. Now we know if he starts hiccuping that we need to get him to settle the heck down.
Trent took his kids to see Indiana Jones...I'm just sayin'. |

Just a heads-up - you might want to read about Kung Fu Panda before taking little ones - it's pretty violent and one review said it wouldn't be good for them.
