Another good review from a site that's a great tool for checking the age-appropriateness of various media.

We've got tickets for a 4:50 today (leaving work early). I'm as excited as the 5yo. Smile

That's Great to hear. I am confident that it's going to be good. Our 2 1/2 year old has taken interest in it from watching the commercials, and last night we went to the Disney Store, he kept asking about the enormous Wall E poster. a few weeks ago, we watched Short Circuit, which he seemed to take interest in also.

Okay, I saw it. It was cute. Parts of it were genius. TAny runner will appreciate the not-so-subtle message behind their big-bonedness of the humans in the movie. I did get a little bored in the middle of it. I guess two days in a row of non-talkies is tough for me. I saw Mr. Bean's holiday yesterday with kiddos. (5 thumbs up on that one).

Anyone else?
I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times to make sure.

I really enjoyed it. As the review I read said, parts of it were a little too atmospheric for the small set, and a lot of the message was over their heads. That said, those aspects were what made it more enjoyable for me. My son's (and probably mine too) favorite part was when they were 'dancing' in space.

I just got back from a late breakfast & movie date with my husband, our youngest son (6 y/o) and oldest son(17 y/o) . We all liked the movie but agreed the start was a little slow, other than that we enjoyed it a lot! It had a lot of cute moments. My 6 y/o laughed through the whole movie and afterwards said it was his favorite movie. My 17 y/o might take his date to see the movie on Tuesday night, so I guess that means he enjoyed the movie enough to see it again. Smile

My husband likes the messages the movie is sending about the environment and laziness.

I love that Wall•E is apparently a Mac. Every time he charged-up and made the classic Mac start-up chime I snickered. I also liked how rough he was in the AM before getting his solar cells charged (coffee)...walking into things, clumsy.

Very sweet movie. Wonderful animation and the effect of camera work, depth of field. Great personalities. Loved the "rogue" robots. Smile

I got a kick out of that too, and there was also an iPod. You can definitely see the Steve Jobs influence.

Well...neither of my kids liked it. dd liked the babies at the very end, other than that she was bored and a little scared and she has NEVER been scared at a movie.
