Fanatic #3965
It was two years ago, but I remember the finish of my first HM like it was yesterday. It's hard to imagine being that tired and that happy at the same time, it's just the best feeling. Keep up the great work!

Passion is a rather frightening thing because if you have passion you don't know where it will take you.
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
You're doing great Dave - congratulations! I started out at 222 pounds on 1/8, run/walking 3 miles on the treadmill. I'm currently at 183, ran the Broad Street 10 miler in May, and I'm registered for my first HM next month. I've dropped my average pace from 11:45/mile to 9:17/mile. It's also really cool, even for a cheapskate like me, when you have to go and buy new pants and belts.
