I just registered..today was the first day of registration. However, there is a drawing procedure that will take place due to the overwhelming turnout and they (website) state they will let you know if you were picked (random picking)..anyone here run this in past years? What is your take? Like..no like? This will be my first Marathon.
The confirmation email I received makes it sound as if I was successfullly registered, told me when I would get my postcard in the mail to bring with me on packet pick up etc (race is in October)..so I'm a bit confused to whether that was just generic and I have to wait to see if my name was picked from the drawing or if I actually did get registered.  |
