Kevin M OConnell

Heya.... 41 year old man.. 250lbs.. been training / working out hard since Sept .. lost 30lbs since then...  just started actively 'training' (running) about 10 weeks ago...

Did my first 'official' race/run today!

Susan G Komen Race for the Cure , South Florida (West Palm Beach) 5k.

I ran 0:26:13.18 .. whoo hoo...  overall 616 out of 3000 runners...   45th in my age group...

    So proud of myself! Smile

Good job Kevin! Keep building and be patient and the sky is the limit!!!

      What does Tunis make?

        Great job!

If you went out too fast and got tired later on -- which is what almost all of us do at first, and lots of the kids do every time -- then you can try adjusting your tactics the next time Smile

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
