The BQ in 2010 thread (Read 4234 times)

    Didn't happen.  Another day...

I'm with you man. Had a terrible feeling up until mile 4 that I just didn't feel right. 3:10 pacer was running 7:00/mile even and I was left in the dust after trying to keep up for the first 1/2. Got some time to reflect and just try a bit harder for next time with much easier weather for training.

Sorry hoosier and ken - look at it this way, now you have a goal for 2011.

I have no idea what to shoot for next. There's NYC. Local races. Or maybe they'll lower the BQ times for women and I'll have that. Smile

I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

That appears to close things out for the year, unless someone posts a race for the next couple of weekends.

Congrats to all who made it in 2010 and good luck for those targeting 2011.

          Giddyup.

            Darn it.

Where's the star spangled banner first?

And I always wondered, starting from when I was 3... (WHY AN AMERICAN INDIAN?)

            Ultima tastes like failure.

              Damn Dog that was funny.

Thanks for keeping this thing going Tater.

damn it! why am i not on here.......oh wait, i forgot to tell ya. 3:32:50. oh well...it's a crap BQ time anyways.

Well I guess you didn't find it very exciting if you didn't tell us. Doesn't seem too crappy to me! Congrats.

That's not a crappy BQ but I'm willing to wager you could have gone faster without such a quick start. I'm willing to wager you've heard this before. When I ran 1:22 for the half this fall in Wilmington it took me almost two miles to pass you. Holy fuck man.

i'm willin to wagah that it was those 2 miles that gave you that pr?

mta - dude...you take one fast shit!

                        I'd put money on it.

I'm explosive! I've got to get my shit together and solve that problem. Wasn't there a thread about that earlier this year.

For those who didn't make it in 2010...MrPHinNJ going to manage this again for 2011?

My racing plans for 2011 are up in the air, so no, I do not intend to run another BQ thread.
