I ran the Yorktown Victory Run (8 miler) yesterday. Felt pretty good, but since it was a local running club's "Grand Prix Event", I knew that most of them were a lot faster than me. When I checked the results today, I found that I placed 3rd in my age group. I then tried to figure out where I came in overall. As you can tell from the link, 195 finished, but they only show 81 people in the results!?! Am I missing something?

Also, my daughter had a soccer game that I really wanted to see, so I didn't stick around for the awards ceremony. Since I have never placed before, do most race organizers send the prize (whatever that might be) to you or is it forfeited since you weren't there? Just curious.

From http://www.colonialroadrunners.org/schedule.html it lists the page you tried to link to as "award winner results" and has a placeholder for "full results when available" which is not an active hyperlink yet.

Full results probably coming soon? Congrats on your AG placement, nicely done. If you contact the RD, you could probably arrange to have the award held for the next group event, or shipped to you.
