New trainers?????? (Read 457 times)

Went for a 5 mile run in a pair of new Sauconys (usually  run in Nikes).and the underneath of my ankle felt irrated when i got home.  Next day Wednesday i felt like i had a sprained ankle and today being thursday the pain has moved to side and arch of the foot.  Does anyone know if this is a sprain or is it because the trainers are new and were holding my foot in a poisition it doesn't usually sit in.  How long will it be b4 i can run again?? am iceing each night and applying a muscle rub.

. Are the Nikes trainers as well? Sometimes the trainers have lower heels. You will need time to adjust. If you went on a normal run and got injuried, go back to the Nikes. You tried and it didn't work for you.

Soz yes am from Uk, didn't realise you didnt use the word trainers, so the injury is likely to be from the shoes then?

                 Funny how we talk different.

I recall driving to San Antonio one day. When I returned, an Irish friend new to the states asked me, "how I got on to San Antonio." I replied, "I got on I-45 then I-10 and drove west for 3 hours. She meant, how was my tripSmile
