Barb, that's terrifying. My heart goes out to this man's family and friends. I hope he is found safe very soon.

Unfortunately, his body was found in the Mississippi River just off one of the downtown park areas. If I remember correctly, this is the 9th young man who perished under similar circumstances.

The LaCrosse area has a definite party / binge drinking issue. All 9 of these deaths had alcohol involvement. For some reason, people are drawn to the river and bad things happen.

It's a beautiful area, lots of fun, lots of outdoor activities (including a Spring marathon) but ....
