| Quote from JakeKnight on 5/1/2008 at 7:25 PM: Or ... maybe it was my classified code name when I was undercover for the FBI investigating corruption in the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders organization. I was hired as Coach Knight and spent hard months toiling in the locker rooms and showers, investigating the ring of perky, pig-tailed federal criminals.
One of those is definitely true.
I thought it was the names of your dogs put together. |

I got nothin' cool... first initial of first name and last name. See... told ya so.
Perhaps, like Anya, I will consider changing it... perhaps something charming like IDidAMénage à TroisWithScoutAndGlobulesMoms? |

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. Sometimes, I forget that this "Globule" fella is actually me and not some other weirdo posting on a running board. |

Yep- That's what I told Globule's mom last night. If she didn't, you know, Scout's mom probably would have.

Quote from rvelich on 5/1/2008 at 8:09 PM:FWIW Anya, I like the screen name. It's the Star Trek avatar that freaks me out.
Isn't it funny? My Dad was a huge Trekkie. We even went to a Star Trek Convention at Cobo Hall when I was a kid. Talk about freakie ! I have seen every episode , many , many times.... |

I used to live in Sylvania in the early 90's when I taught at UT, and my son was born there. I remember Southview still had a strong reputation in CC in the mid-90's - don't know how they're doing now. |

| I suppose since I've contributed a general comment to the thread I ought to confirm the unimaginative lameness of my name - first initial and last name. I got nothin' to hide (that I know of, at least). |

| Quote from jEfFgObLuE on 5/1/2008 at 5:05 PM: Heh. That's a loaded question that I could expound upon at great length due to my vast experience in this arena. Suffice it to say, it's tricky, because running faster also speeds up the very process you are trying to slow down / stave off. So you have to settle in to that ideal pace (I call it OBMPP: Optimal Bowel Movement Prevention Pace) that will give you the greatest chance of making it to safety.
I am familiar with that type of pace. However, I find I am faster, afterwards. |
