Forums >Gears and Wears>Barefoot running survey
Hi, I'm doing a project on barefoot running and would really appreciate if you could take the time to fill out my questionnaire. Don't worry it's not very long! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6NBWH5Z
Done.
Take my advice: Pull down you're pants and slide on the ice
Latent Runner
Dumb survey; doesn't take into account the folks who believe the human body didn't evolve to safely run barefoot on pavement.
Fat old man PRs:
effects not affects
PBs: 5k: 20:30 | 10K: 44:55 | Half: 1:45:17
2013 Goals: sub 20 for 5k | sub 45 for 10k | sub 1.45 for HM

Is the project supposed to gather information of any probative value?

No, no, they're interested in bare feet, not bare noses.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.
Lasting pain. Stepping on those darn legos and Barbie shoes and stuff in the dark always leaves me in pain lasting for a while.

We are fragile creatures on collision with our judgment day.
Actually it doesn't seem concerned with whether your feet are bare, only whether you run using the barefoot technique or in the barefoot running style. That could mean anything. I took it to mean the way in which I run.
And obviously running in the barefoot running style is a fully fledged alternative to playing video games so I checked that box too.

What if running with in the barefoot style is for me only a partially fledged alternative to, you know, stuff.
I think I got all 7 questions correct.
I have done it Amy, I'm the one who went back to midfoot strike in 'normal' running shoes after trying barefoot shoes.
I'm still suffering, just not so bad.
not bad for mile 25
Amy, are you there? Hello?
Think this is another drive-by survey spam?
I always wonder if the appropriate response to drive-by survey spam might be to fill out the survey with invented answers a bunch of times.
I'm wondering. I don't know what they get out of it, though.
Potential donations to Survey Monkey.
